Micheal LaMore of Longwood, FL was granted his wish this week by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida and the Jose Wejebe Foundation. Micheal, his mom, grandmother and cousin spent the week in the Florida Keys while deep sea fishing. Micheal’s wish to go fishing was fulfilled with the help of the Bad Habit crew at the Postcard Inn.

The fishing trip is the third event between Make a Wish and the Jose Wejebe Foundation, the nonprofit was started last year by Krissy Wejebe, daughter of Keys fishing legend and host of the popular Spanish Fly fishing show, Jose Wejebe. Jose Wejebe, 58, died in April 2012 when the small plane he was flying crashed in Everglades City
Make-a-Wish’s South Florida Chapter is in its 30th year, and Michael LaMore’s wish marked 9,000 dreams come true for sick children in the area. The chapter fulfilled a record 546 wishes last year.
