Bringing Chicagoans the experience of a traditional Italian Pasticceria, Dolci Amori, is proud to announce the opening of its first brick and mortar location. Featuring sweet items that are as beautiful as they are tasty, selections include: Bombolone, the Italian version of a doughnut, as well as other authentic specialties such as Cornetti Ischitani, Crostata, Biscotti, Zeppole, and much more. For those craving something savory, guests can expect a variety of salads, Neapolitan street food like arancini, pizzette, and frittatine.

What began as a suggested menu addition to Sunday Dinner Club has expanded into a flourishing restaurant given the fitting name, TriBecca’s Sandwich Shop. As a sous chef, owner Becca Grothe introduced her take on the classic Cubano sandwich. Since then, Grothe opened TriBecca’s Sandwich Shop which features her famous Cubano and other “full flavored and full happiness” sandwiches. 

Khmai Fine Dining

Obélix

Brothers Oliver and Nicolas Poilevy, who share an extensive background in the Chicago restaurant scene, have come together to open Obélix. This new and refreshing French restaurant opened in May, and brings Chicago an ultramodern feel to traditional French food. With mouthwatering entrees, desserts, French wines, and an entire section of the menu dedicated to duck, Obélix is a must-try this summer. 

Eden

They may have called it a re-opening, but the fact is, Eden will be in a brand new location with an expanded 20’ x 28’ on-site greenhouse. While the location is new, Eden will continue to focus on using garden-fresh, seasonal ingredients picked on-the-spot and from partnerships with local farms.

The bar program, developed by Alex Rydzewski, will feature both cocktails and mocktails, with a wine and spirits list highlighting small, woman-owned, and minority-owned vineyards with bio-friendly and organic options. Offerings will also include Eden’s very own beer, made in partnership with Great Central Brewing Company.

Regalia

1308 Chicago

Closed on Saturdays and Sundays, a trip to 1308 Chicago during the work-week is essential.
