imageBroward Navy Days, Inc. will host the 24th annual Humana Military FLEET WEEK PORT EVERGLADES, April 28 – May 5, 2014. During his recent visit to South Florida, Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Jonathan Greenert confirmed that the U.S.S. New York, one of the Navy’s newest ships, constructed from steel recovered from the wreckage of the Twin Towers, will visit Port Everglades for Fleet Week. Hundreds of Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen will participate in a week of activities, demonstrations and community service projects.

Among the activities planned:

Community Relations Projects at Local Schools, Hospitals, Civic Organizations
