The Eye was on hand at the Seminole Hard Rock and Casino for The Pantry of Broward’s 5th Annual Dancing with the Stars of Broward what a spectacular night it was and all for a great cause.
A big round of applause for this year’s contestants Chef Lee Blakley of Wines for Humanity; Alyssa Lovitt of Timpano Italian Chophouse; John Mabry of AutoNation; Luke Moorman of Carroll’s Jewelers; and Kathy O’Brien of Fort Lauderdale Country Club. Judges were Pembroke Pines Mayor Frank Ortis and 2012 Dancing with the Stars of Broward celebrity dancers Laurina Anderson, Marc Cannon, Johnny Williams and Katrina Wright, who offered commentary on the performances.
The 1st place award went to Kathy O’Brien of the Ft. Lauderdale Country Club with her partner Pablo Malco.
The 2nd place award went to Alyssa Lovitt of Timpano Italian Chophouse with her partner Bryan Williams.

The Pantry of Broward is a “one stop shop” for seniors. We provide a 55 pound nutritional food box to over 425 clients and 157 Grandchildren every month. We also assist our clients full circle, with a wide variety of additional services.
Such services as assistance with housing, emergency utility bills, food stamp applications to name a few.
