The world of Fine Art is not an easy one to comprehend; thus goes for the many artists who inhabit this vast realm of novelties and imagination. And, to those who dare tread into this domain of mystery and unexpectancy, disorientation and hallucination shall, in short time, become friends.
Seemingly lost, Jackie Watson, the French reporter, wandered aimlessly down the red carpet at the 2016 Galerie Montaigne event. Obviously, the intoxicating aura of the evening’s entrancing exhibits and anomalies along with the encompassing slew of celebrities, had Jackie a bit bewildered. But, such behavior is quite understandable and excusable, as art is a very powerful thing, indeed.
However, we must mention that the event, although popular amongst celebrities, is not one that is well known to the public. So, what exactly is the 2016 Galerie Montaigne event, you might be asking? Well, according to Jackie, it is a Jane Owen PR event which proudly displays a huge FABERGÉ egg. Oh my! Not quite what this event is about, but we will give our Jackie an “A” for effort.
The Galerie Montaigne itself, is an exhibition room located in the heart of the Beverly Hills, West Hollywood area. The gallery exclusively represents French Artists such as “FANO”, a sculptor who specializes in colored screws to create famous faces and fun-filled visual pieces. Periodically, the gallery holds openings to showcase its extensive list of wonderful exhibitors.
Many celebrities such as Ellen Hollman, Alexis Knapp, Katie Cleary, Melia Kreiling, AnnaLynne McCord, Heather Alexandra and Megan Williams were in attendance at the 2016 event.

A bevey of Brits and Beauties turned out for the opening of French Gallery – Galerie Montainge, which opened its doors in West Hollywood Friday night in style.
The red carpet, which covered the entire of the front of the gallery and the surrounding area, was decorated by classic cars and massive sculptures, including a golden skull adorned with a butterfly and a Faberge egg inspired chair worth half a million dollars.
Inside guests admired art work from a collection of a number of prestigious artists from Europe, such as Georges Monfils, Laurent Proneur, Fano and more by Jonathan Loubens.
Crystal Champagne, Purple Haze Liquor along with French wines, were served by the beautiful models from Runway Waiters. Guests feasted on the modern French hors d’oeuvres and danced to a diverse mix of music, as they enjoyed the stunning artwork and sculptures both inside the gallery, and in the outdoor garden behind. The garden patio was turned into a magical extension of the gallery, with paintings and artistic lighting creating a leafy gallery amongst the trees.
In attendance were an eclectic mix of celebrities – Beautiful starlets Annalynne Mccord, Tara Reid, Tyrant’s Melia Kreiling and Pitch Perfect’s Alexis Knapp joined by Comedian Andy Dick, Jimmy-Jean Louis from the Academy Award Nominated film JOY, singer Rochelle Vincent Von K and reality star Mike Shouhed from Shahs of Sunset.
In addition the Art opening saw a reuniting of several British Ex-Pat stars, including Dani Behr, Chesney Hawkes, Samantha Mumba and two of the Eastenders cast Deepak Verma and Patsy Palmer.
