From Michigan Lawyer to Unofficial “Mayor of Puerto Rico” with Ari Kresch

Ari Kresch is a pioneer in bringing contingent legal services to the masses. In 1994, he founded 1-800-LAW-FIRM, the first legal marketing firm to access national advertising platforms on behalf of constituent law firms. He also built the first legal intake center and developed intake software that would create efficiencies previously unknown to law firms. Kresch is now affectionately known as the “Mayor of Puerto Rico” for being one of the first of many lawyers who have set up practices there.

On the show, Kresch discusses the Flint Michigan water crisis litigation, civil rights investigations into police misconduct, and how the tech industry could do more to intervene on terroristic threats.
