Leila Billings is the Owner & Managing Attorney for The Mass Torts Law Firm & Liberty Red Legal Group. A passionate and compassionate female litigator, Leila focuses her work on litigating in the mass tort space, specifically dangerous drugs, products liability, toxic torts, serious personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice cases, as well as intellectual property cases. Leila received her dual JD and MBA from Nova Southeastern University and has a degree in psychology from Boston University. Before focusing on mass torts, Leila spent 10+ years working in the real estate transaction field. Before launching her own law firm, most recently Leila was an attorney with Kelley | Uustal, where she built the firm’s mass torts division from scratch. In March 2020 she hung up her own shingle. In addition to being a successful female trial lawyer, Leila is also a community leader and is committed to furthering access for justice and using her law degree for good. She is a supporter of women’s rights and the advancement of women lawyers. Leila currently serves as President of Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, Past President of Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, Wellness Committee of Broward County Bar Association, and Broward County Women Lawyers Association. Billings founded and sits on the Board of Directors of Attorneys For HOPE, a non-profit dedicated to providing pro bono legal services and support to the elderly in the South Florida community.
