foodie crawlSunFest, the art and music festival that sent good vibes flowing down the West Palm Beach waterfront this month, lives on with Thursday’s Pairings Food and Wine Event. SunFest co-hosts the fifth annual foodie crawl with the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, where 32 restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries will sling light bites from their storefronts along the Clematis Street drag between Rosemary and Narcissus avenues. The $25 ticket includes access to plenty of samples (and exercise, since Pairings stretches five blocks), highlights of which include spicy aioli conch fritters with Bahamian rum at E.R. Bradley’s Saloon; coconut ceviche and kiwi mojitos at Avocado Grill; and Thai chicken flatbread and Spaingaritas (a sangria-margarita blend) at Bar Louie. 5:30-9 p.m., and eaters depart from the registration area ($30 at the door) at City Center courtyard at Dixie Highway and Clematis Street. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Families First Palm Beach County. 561-883-8873 or DowntownWPB.com/events/pairings-2.
