The three finalists for each category were announced here at the Broward Health VIP Announcement Party. This event kicked of the voting for the PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards.
These prestigious awards honor the work of Broward County’s non-profit organizations and leaders for their dedication and impact on the community. The PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards presented by 2-1-1 Broward and hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino awards ceremony and luncheon will take place on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
The winners in each category will receive an Academy Award statue and $1,000 for each of their non-profit organizations. The other two finalists in each category will be awarded $500 each. Please note that grants awarded for the collaboration category will be divided equally among the collaborating organizations. All other non-profits nominated will be included in the Publix Community Choice Award, which will be decided by votes received from the community.
